Mission Statement

Wheaton North Lacrosse exists to grow the interest of the sport in the Wheaton area, create new athletic possibilities at Wheaton North and instill the spirit of lacrosse within Falcon Student athletes all while fostering high moral standards, strong character and a sense of commitment to something bigger than themselves.

Coaches Philosophy

Lacrosse is a sport that that combines speed, strength and athleticism. The coaching staff believes that any player has the ability to be an excellent lacrosse player, but it is the responsibility of that player to excel. Coaches exist to guide the athletes on their path to their goals. By teaching the proper mechanics and helping athletes to discover the sport of lacrosse, excellent play will result. Coaches do not exist to yell and put down, but rather to guide and educate players. A team can only go as far as it's players will allow it. When all entities of the team operate together, the team will be highly successful.

Our Club
The Boys Lacrosse Club is gearing up to begin its third Spring season at Wheaton North. Similar to last year, the club will offer three levels of play: Varsity, Junior Varsity and Freshman/Sophomore. While lacrosse is currently a club sport and not yet an IHSA sanctioned school sport, the team offers athletic letters. In fact, many players lettered at Wheaton North while achieving academic honors, and several former players have gone on to play lacrosse in college.

New players at all levels are welcome to join - the team has a no-cut policy.
